Dagenham & Redbridge boss Wayne Burnett has been nominated for the League Two manager of the month award.
Burnett guided the Daggers to an unbeaten month from eight games, collecting 14 points along the way, which included away wins at Newport County and Bristol Rovers.
The Victoria Road chief will go up against Rochdale’s Keith Hill, who lost just once in the month, and Scunthorpe United’s record breaking Russ Wilcox.
The Iron manager has guided his side to 24-game unbeaten run since taking over at Glanford Park and three wins and four draws have kept them in with a shout of the League Two title.
Also in contention is York City’s Nigel Worthington, who has seen his Minstermen side move up to eighth in the table with a 10-game unbeaten run, and have picked up 16 points out of a possible 18 in March.
Burnett was also up for the award in October, but lost out to Hartlepool United’s Colin Cooper on that occasion.
But Medy Elito wasn’t shortlisted for the player of the month award, despite netting four times in the month.
Accrington Stanley’s Tom Aldred, Jamie Allen of Rochdale, Northampton Town midfielder Darren Carter and York City’s Michael Coulson will vie for the award.
The winners of the will be announced on Friday.
