The loan transfer window officially re-opens tomorrow and Daggers boss Wayne Burnett has not ruled out adding to his squad, though is wary of upsetting the balance within it.

The squad available to Burnett is on the small side, and including loanees Luke Norris and Lawson D’Ath, he currently has 20 players at his disposal.

That also includes injured midfielder Luke Howell, and though the Victoria Road chief would like to add to his squad, he wants to make sure any potential arrival has the right temperament to come in and deliver straight away.

“There is the competition for places in the squad at the moment despite the squad being rather small in size,” said Burnett.

“We are looking at our options but I am wary of us striking the right balance in the squad.

“The last thing I want to do is upset the mood around the camp at the moment and it is something I am very mindful of that when looking at bringing players in.”
