Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh is a doubt for the north London derby against Tottenham on Sunday after hobbling off with a toe injury in Arsenal Reserves 5-0 win over Norwich on Tuesday.

The Moroccan lasted only 30 minutes of the game at Carrow Road, where Park Chu-Young, Benik Afobe, Yossi Benayoun and a brace from Andrey Arshavin saw the Gunners to victory.

He is now expected to have a scan in the next 24 hours however reserve coach Neil Banfield was optimistic that it wasnt serious.

Marouane had a bad toe coming into this one but to be fair to him he wanted to give this game a go," Banfield said.

"But he could only last for half an hour and he had to come off."

Kieran Gibbs is another player who is a doubt after missing the game due to picking up a knock in training.
