Johan Djourou wants to take advantage of Gunners’ injuries

Arsenal defender Johan Djourou is confident his return at centre half will see an upturn in his performances.
The Swiss international has often been deployed at full back this season and has struggled to find his best form.
Djourou came on as a substitute for an injured Laurent Koscielny during their 4-0 defeat at the San Siro last week and with the Frenchman, as well as Per Mertesacker unavailable for today's FA Cup clash against Sunderland, the 25-year-old is keen to grab his chance.
"I am happy to be back in my position and to show what I am worth," Djourou told Arsenal Player.
"This season has been a bit harder for me. I have had to play out of position where I am not used to but I have tried to do my job, but I am not a [natural] right back.
"People forget and think that if you play in a position, 'Johan Djourou is a right back', but I am not, I was there to help the team. Now I am back in my position and I will show everyone my qualities."
A stand out performance may be required for Djourou to retain his place at centre half, as although Mertesacker is said to be out for some time with ankle ligament damage, Koscielny should only be out for a week.
