An amateur drama group is preparing to perform a thought provoking comedy.

The Guildonian Players will be performing Entertaining Angels by Richard Everett at the Little Theatre at the Methodist Church in The Drive, Harold Wood.

The story seems simple enough-Vicar’s wife, Grace has spent a lifetime on her best behaviour. Now after the death of her husband Bardolph, she can enjoy the new found freedom of being able to do and say exactly what she wants.

But the return of her eccentric missionary sister, Ruth together with some disturbing revelations force Grace to confront the truth of her marriage.

The production is directed by Susie Faulkner and regulars Enid Law and Carole Brand play the two sisters with Iain Atttiwell playing the deceased vicar.

The play is entered in Havering Arts Council’s Peripatetic Festival of Full Length Players.

Tickets cost £7 from the box office on 01708 341442.
